piece combo looks young - but plays old: Old School Blues, Jazz, Swing,
Ska, standards, Motown and Latin numbers prominently fill a bag of roughly
100 tunes plus originals.

En Clave is a Latin Jazz, Jazz &
Fusion project. Our music contains Caribbean flavors with a blues funk
twist. The band feature Joey Abella on electric guitar, Marcos Diaz
on electric bass, Kevin Counts on drums & Ralph Roman on congas.
They bring their Caribbean roots to the stage with a classy, hip and
energetic show.

Pianist Kevin Wilder
In
nearly three decades as a professional musician, keyboardist Kevin Wilder
has shown that music is truly a universal language. In Wilder’s
unique musical world, jazz, pop, soul and funk combine in unexpected
and refreshing ways. The Cincinnati native has logged time with renowned
legacy outfits like the Duke Ellington, Woody Herman and Ray Charles
bands, and has shared the stage with artists like Oleta Adams.

The The Thick as Thieves trio has continued
to hone their unique jazz voice in the Tampa Bay area over the last
ten years. The ensemble has a wide range of musical inspirations, and
their extensive song list reflects this. From inspired original material
to selections by Cole Porter and Pat Metheny, Thick as Thieves strive
to blend contemporary innovations with a traditional jazz foundation.

Suzzette Jennings and the Mood Swingz
Suzette Jennings & MoodSwingz have
been entertaining Tampa Bay area audiences for over 12 years with an
eclectic repertoire ranging from contemporary jazz to standards and
swing to Motown to good old R&B. Suzette, who hails from Detroit,
has been singing professionally since she was 17. She moved to the area
in 1992, bringing her culture, passion and soulful voice with her. Band
members include Michael James on drums, Ruthee Losoviz on keyboards,
Tito Garcia on guitar and Mike Foley on bass. The band has played
a variety of local clubs and large venues including two Clearwater Jazz
Holidays, Mainsail Arts Festival, St. Petersburg’s Get Downtown
First Friday Music Series and Old Hyde Park Village Music Series, both
sponsored by WSJT Radio, Van Wezel Friday Fest, St. Armand’s Circle
Smooth Jazz series and others.
Suzette is a polished entertainer with flamboyant style and mesmerizing
stage presence. She consistently delivers a dynamic performance
that leaves a lasting impression!

Denise Moore and Then Some!
Only an ensemble as brimming with sultry energy, invention and rhythmic
poise could please jazz aficionados of the Tampa Bay area for more than
14years. The ensemble’s front woman, Denise Moore, is an engaging
jazz and blues songstress with a wide vocal range and a phenomenally accurate
ear. This blue - eyed chanteuse is more than a percussionist and arranger,
for she injects personal style into many of the great standards and classics.
She is deeply influenced by Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald and Flora
Purim but it is likely you will also hear Denise eloquently perform songs
by recent chart-toppers like Diana Krall and Karryn Alison.

Shawn Brown
Born in Baltimore Maryland into a musical
family, Shawn Brown grew up immersed in gospel music. The singer and
keyboardist was performing in church before he was old enough to attend
school. A long and eventful music career has seen Shawn share the stage
with artists such as Clarence Clemons, Percy Sledge, Christopher Cross,
Earth Wind & Fire, Keith Sweat, Little Milton, Lucky Peterson, and
Ronnie Earl. In 1986, Reverend Al Green invited Shawn to play the organ
at his church in Memphis, where he stayed for over a month before traveling
back to Tampa. In 1988 he recorded an album with a band called Blackstar
entitled "Animal Attraction", accompanied by the Earth Wind
& Fire horn section.

Nate Najar
Nate Najar is one of only few guitarists
who play jazz on the classical guitar. Many guitar players emulate horn
players with blistering single note runs, but Nate prefers the more
orchestral approach afforded by the classical guitar. Contrapuntal lines,
lush harmony, and a full swinging sound have come to be associated with
his guitar work. Swinging jazz sounds, blues, and Brazilian styles are
all at home under Nate's hands.

The
jazz quartet "LadyFingers" is known in the Bay area for its
unique Finga-Style jazz" with a 'touch' of R & B. LadyFingers’
talent base consists of its
leader, keyboardist Normita Rodriguez Jeffery, a classically trained
pianist.
The "Voice of LadyFingers", Sonja Wise, is a consummate vocalist
and performer with a stage presence that commands your attention. She
has always been the lead vocalist of LadyFingers. Basil Powell, on guitar,
has over 25 years of experience on the international stage and studio,
Basil's guitar skills are without limitations. He has drawn from many
legends to create a style of his own. James Norman, a master drummer,
keeps in the pocket, and has a signature style other pros envy. He has
worked many years with industry giants. He and his licks give Ladyfingers
the signature drive.
